Court work often stalls at a counter, a dak, or an unlisted file. Liaisoning is the unglamorous half of getting a matter actually heard.

  2. 02Departments and agenciesCustoms, GST, municipal corporations, pollution boards, police stations — wherever a file has stopped moving on a desk.
  3. 03Certified recordOrders, show-cause notices, relied-upon documents and revenue extracts, obtained in time for limitation.
  4. 04Instructing counselOn outstation forums, where it is sensible to separate appearance from the running of the paper.

Liaisoning is not touting, and it is not the purchase of a result. It is keeping a file moving along the path the statute already provides.
